Become familiar with the learning outcomes of the Telehealth Mastery Short Course – How to be more proactive in the breast health of your patients: genetic testing for breast cancer and complete a predisposing questionnaire to test your knowledge. 

In this module, you will hear from the National Breast Cancer Foundation and their insights into genetic testing and other relevant information for GPs.

In the final module, you will learn how to implement genetic testing into your practice including the delivery methods via telehealth or in-clinic.

When you enrol into the Telehealth Mastery Short Course, you gain access to 6 weeks of online training and a LinkedIn group where you can engage with like-minded peers. You’ll also receive a downloadable workbook to guide your learning and, when you complete the course, you’ll gain 5 CPD points from the RACGP or PDP points with the ACRRM.

As the field of medicine continues to evolve, preventative care is not only becoming more of a reality, but is a way for clinicians to differentiate themselves. Advances in genetic technologies and large-scale consortia studies over the past decade have enabled clinical risk prediction improvements beyond traditional means. This course will highlight the advancements in clinical risk assessment models and the benefit risk assessment can add to your practice.

This course, along with other Complex Medical Conditions mini-courses are each worth 5 CPD points from the RACGP and the ACRRM. 

The Foundational Course is worth 40 CPD points from the RACGP and 6 PDP points with the ACRRM. 

You will need to complete all modules and lessons within the course, the breakout sessions (where applicable) and the quizzes to receive your CPD points. 

The Complex Medical Conditions courses involve a shorter time commitment of approximately 2 to 3 hours per course.

The Foundational Course is completed over 6 weeks. To graduate, you’ll need to complete each unit and attend 2 group webinars. 

We recommend you allocate 1 hour per week plus another 2 hours for the breakout sessions or webinars. Of course, if you prefer, you can do larger chunks of work over a shorter period of time.

How much do the Telehealth Mastery Complex Disease Management courses cost? 

Each Complex Medical Conditions course costs $350 and is worth 3-5 CPD points. 

How much does Telehealth Mastery Foundation Course cost? 

The Foundational Course costs $1,200 for 6 weeks’ worth of hands-on training and is worth 40 CPD points.

Will I be charged taxes?
